Frequently asked questions

Will DACOS Omni work with my articulator?

If your articulator isn’t listed, you can use the DACOS Flex version. It installs into any articulator using plaster for the first setup, then stays magnetic. This gives you universal compatibility without needing a brand-specific kit. 👉 If you’d like DACOS compatibility for your specific articulator, fill out the request form below, and our team will prioritize adding it to our library list.

What if my CAD software doesn’t have DACOS Omni library?

You can use the BlenderForDental (B4D) module: import your model, click “Optimize for DACOS Omni,” and it automatically adapts your design to our library format ready to print and mount.

What’s the difference between Light and Ultra kits?

Light: Minimal vertical height, faster printing, less resin usage. Ideal for small arches, crown & bridge use. Ultra: More balanced height, better for full-arch or implant cases, adds handling stability. If you choose one kit, Ultra is safer as it handles more cases than Light.

Why is the lower plate split into two parts?

We use a Gemini calibrator so the lower plate can be fine-tuned to your printer settings after you mount it. The upper plate is fixed to articulator geometry while the lower half adjusts to achieve micron accuracy. The upper plate is fixed to your articulator’s coordinates, so the occlusal plane precisely reflects the articulator’s condyles and mechanical structure, providing true analog-digital alignment.

What if a product is out of stock?

If an item is temporarily unavailable, don’t worry . We’ll ship it as soon as production is completed. Each order is confirmed immediately, and we’ll notify you with updates on estimated dispatch dates to ensure you receive your DACOS Omni system at the earliest possible time.

Does the DACOS Kit include software or CAD libraries?

No. DACOS Omni hardware kits do not include any software or digital library files. Libraries are provided separately.
